When we began planning with Marieta and Kristijan, the goal was clear: a celebration that honored their roots while showcasing the breathtaking beauty of the Adriatic coast. As their Istria wedding planner, we curated an experience that moved seamlessly from the historic streets of Rovinj to the rustic charm of the Istrian countryside.

A Ceremony with a View in Rovinj

The day began at Agrotourism Paladnjaki, where guests gathered for chilled drinks and canapes under the Istrian sun. We then moved to the heart of Rovinj for a traditional ceremony at the Church of St. Euphemia (Sveta Eufemija). Following the "I dos," guests enjoyed a celebratory toast on the plateau in front of the church, taking in the iconic sea views that make a wedding in Istria so unforgettable.

Vintage Charm & Breathtaking Backdrops

While guests returned to the reception, the newlyweds escaped for a private moment in a vintage beige old-timer car. From the narrow, cobbled streets of Rovinj to hidden coastal lookouts, the couple captured breathtaking photos against the backdrop of the blue Adriatic.

The Celebration at Agrotourism Paladnjaki

The party then moved to the Istrian wedding venue Paladnjaki, widely regarded as the most popular location in the region. The atmosphere was quintessentially Istrian—authentic homemade cuisine and local wine, accompanied by the lively sounds of traditional harmonikaši musicians.

The evening culminated inside a beautifully renovated stone farmhouse. Our florist partners transformed the space with lush green and white floral arrangements and a canopy of fairy lights, creating a magical, intimate glow against the historic stone walls. It was the perfect end to a legendary wedding in Paladnjaki.
